Free dance, structured dance and dance with materials for a celebration, tools for the trainees to use into the practice

Documentation:

A detailed documentation was made. Here you find a summary

In the beginning there was a lot of resistance, though it was a free decision of the trainees to participate. The students come out of diverging contexts. Especially one woman came directly out of a war region, 3 people of her family died. It was hard for the class at first to concentrate on themselfes. The first contacts which were offered on the level of playing roll games helped them to get away of the idea to create a perfect dance at once. The movements got more authentic and they dared to use the movement in their own space. Structed movents strengthened the trust in the body. Authentic movement motivated to find the own form of expression, So different ways of form, structed and inner form, helped the students to develop own movement material, to express it from the inner self and see the own qualities. The traumatized woman was good integrated in the group. It needed personal contact and to talk to her to help to manage. The group helped her also to handle her mourning. At least the task for the trainees was to prepare a celebration using parts of the things they learned and developed. The celebration was a full success. At the last day a surprise was prepared for the students. The room was decorated comfortable for a relaxation in pairs. The trainees really enjoyed that. They wrote a big sign with "thank you" and the trainer got a relaxation too.

Feedback of the trainees:

Very good tools for dance, movement and relaxation for the practice (there was also a script), feeling of security in the group, the right to be how you are, the international participants felt very good integrated, they would offer something like that at home, important steps in self-development, sorry, it is over now, asking for another event like this.
