- TITLE OF THE ACTIVITY: INTERVIEW ROOM
- DETAILED CONTENT DESCRIPTION (300 words or more):
INTERVIEW ROOM is space where 12 interviews with dance pedagogues will take place. The interviews will be realized by Ana Stegnar.
The space will be reserved for the activity for one full day. In the space, a fixed 'scenography' (for example: 2 chairs at a table, chairs for the listeners, un empty portion of space , microphone, nice lightning ) will facilitate the exchange about teaching practices.
Each interview will take about 1 hour, will be recorded and filmed.
Participants of the symposium will be invited as listeners, the schedule of the interviews will be announced and exposed as a poster.
This project gives possibilities of being listened to, observed, watched, documented by the others....
The teachers will be asked about their (family, artistic and teacher's) background, teaching contents, arts &esthetics they defend , audience (to whom they teach and where), how they document their teaching practice, as well as about their social and economical situation.
The process of selection of interviewed teachers will take place before the symposium via a survey and call via idocde website. We are aiming different teachers profiles, looking for teachers with around 10 years of experience as pedagogues and teaching internationally to gasp actual tendencies of contemporary dance teaching in their connection to dance history and contemporary art.
