Class Description: 

After warming up and streching out our bodies with the excercises from different movement influences, we will move into warming up our imagination through playing games and improvisation. Here, the main focus will be opening up a space for finding different movement qualities in our bodies.

 

As the awareness of our own bodies develop, kinesthetic relation with other bodies in space will evolve. As a closure for this section, we will let the class for emerging conversations between the bodies and with the environment. 

 

In the next part, the children will be led into the process of developing a choreography through scores. 

 

Dances will be choreographed step by step and only by children. Everyone will practice writing scores for themselves and for the others. Sometimes as a team, sometimes on their own. And day by day, children will learn tools and  have time for developing their score into the dance of their fantasy. 

 

There will be a space for everybody's fantasies....

 

All dances will be presented in an informal showing on the last day of the workshop.
