The training is an integration of many different ways of moving that I’ve learned from my traditional (ballet, Graham, Limon, afro, folk-dance) and contemporary (release technique, improvisation, CI) dance education. The exercises are functional, and they offer an opportunity to the dancers to meet their body, to listen to its voice and to discover the fundamentals of moving such as use of weight, momentum, flow of energy, directions, space, time, rhythm, co-ordination, etc. The aim is to help the participants to come to an awareness, to center the body and mind, and to arrive at an energetic, but relaxed, open physical state.

In the class we will search for tools and methods to help each other to overcome our own learning difficulties. We will use physical interactions or devices such as long poles to facilitate movement.
