My workshops and classes focus on release based dance technique, the efficiency and functionality of the moving body, being open minded and sensible to feel the joy of dancing. The key elements are to create awareness for using breath and gravity to develop and free the movements.
The class often begins with a visual and tactile exploration of a certain topic I chose each time. The examined knowledge will be explored further by working with a partner to discover how the body is function. With this state of body awareness, the class progresses through led and set exercises to find ease of moving on the floor, traveling across the space and culminating in more complex sequences of movements by using articulate detailed and dynamic material. Every class will encourage the mover to be highly physical and playful. It will access to an easy, sensitive, intelligent, energetic body in motion.
